Troubleshooting and support

For university members who have problems with IT services, we recommend the following procedure:

If you have any questions about the operation of certain services or applications, please first have a look at the IT Info pages.

Secondly

If you cannot solve your problem this way, please send an e-mail to it-support@hs-wismar.de for error messages and support requests. This way your request will automatically be added to our support ticket system.

Please note the following so that we can process it there:

  • Only one request per e-mail please. Otherwise we can neither assign nor process the support ticket.
  • Please formulate a meaningful subject. This will enable our support team to allocate your request faster and more precisely.
  • Please describe the error as precisely as possible in the text of the e-mail so that the person processing your request can narrow down the problem and solve it as best as possible without having to re-contact you.
