Production Studio (PELA)

Since 2012, the production studio for e-learning applications (PELA for short) has stood for excellent service in both face-to-face and distance learning. Anyone can produce good videos in the studio - for example for studying and teaching, to make them available on learning platforms such as Stud.IP and ILIAS regardless of time and place, or to effectively showcase coursework. It goes without saying that the actors are professionally supervised during the studio recordings. No prior technical knowledge is required to use the service. And best of all, this service is free of charge for all members of the university - whether lecturers, staff or students.

If users are visiting the studio for the first time, an introductory meeting is offered to familiarise them with the facilities. First and foremost with the recording room, in which the actors later stand in front of 25 square metres of green screen material and speak into two cameras. Thanks to the green screen process, backgrounds and objects can be digitally added to the scene. Sound, image and video files are fed into the neighbouring control and editing room. Thanks to the room's facilities, discussion groups and interviews with up to three people are also possible in addition to individual presentations.
