Photos, term papers, notes and personal documents often end up in cloud services from Google, Apple or Microsoft. But what happens to your data there, what rights do you grant these providers and what role does AI training play?
In this workshop, we separate facts from misconceptions about cloud storage, terms of service and AI. You will discover alternatives to Google Drive, iCloud and OneDrive and learn how to store your data more securely and independently.
Together, we will take the first practical steps: adjusting important settings, creating backups, exporting your files and switching to more privacy-friendly storage solutions. Feel free to bring your laptop or smartphone. No previous knowledge is required.
