On about 200 pages, the publication tells about the student self-construction project "NB-LAB", the short form of "Nature-based living-lab for interdisciplinary practical and research semester on sustainable development and environmental protection in the Amazon Rainforest".
The publication documents and analyses the conception, planning and realisation phase of the sustainable and international student design-build project. The publication can also be used as a textbook. The project findings contained can be used for the conception of future Design-Build projects. It also raises questions about the sustainable design of future South-North-South cooperation.
