Opening Ceremony of the Müther Archive

"Experience, calculations, cooperation with scientists, extensive model investigations and small experimental constructions but also a lot of courage and acquired self-confidence made it possible for Ulrich Müther to bridge ever greater spans with his shells without supports",

reads the 1994 "Ten Stories of Entrepreneurial Success in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern." Despite difficult conditions, Ulrich Müther regularly succeeded in coming up with new solutions. Like his life and work, the history of the Hochschule Wismar - University of Applied Sciences - is also characterized by a thirst for research and an innovative spirit. Therefore, it seems only logical that his professional estate was brought to the traditional training center for architects and engineers in Wismar with his consent in 2006. Since spring 2020, Müther's estate has been housed in new premises on the Hochschule Wismar campus and is now accessible to academia and the public. Due to the pandemic, the inauguration ceremony had to be postponed - now we would like to make up for the official opening together with you!
