Dr. Rahul Singh, former DAAD scholarship holder at Wismar University of Applied Sciences, has been appointed assistant professor of environmental engineering at IIT (BHU) Varanasi.

The successful research partnership with Rahul Singh's doctoral supervisor Prof. Dr. Volker Birke will continue despite the great geographical distance. Together, they conducted research in Malchow on Poel as part of the “mox-PAK” project.

Starting in September, alumnus Dennis Ehlert will begin his doctoral studies in Wismar – the research continues!
