Rector re-elected

Am 10. Juli 2025 wurde Prof. Dr. iur. Bodo Wiegand-Hoffmeister zum dritten Mal zum Rektor der Hochschule Wismar gewählt.

Prof. Dr Bodo Wiegand-Hoffmeister was re-elected Rector by the V Extended Senate on Thursday, 10 July 2025.

Following this election, the Minister for Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern still has to appoint the Rector of Wismar University of Applied Sciences. Prof. Dr Bodo Wiegand-Hoffmeister will take up his third six-year term as Rector on 1 February 2026.
