KUNO cultural festival with us

Es ist ein weißer offener Zeltpavillon zu sehen mit einem Stehtisch davor. Daneben befinden sich weitere Pavillons und im Hintergrund eine Bühne. Etliche Menschen stehen und laufen im Hof. Über ihnen when bunte Fähnchen an Stricken.

The event opened with a typical dance performance by our student Jahnvi Jaishi from Nepal, followed by a song by Zefanya Ezranta, which centred on the mascot of his home country Indonesia.

Our UAS stand was highly frequented throughout, so that we were able to offer our services for almost the entire duration of the event. The demand for henna painting was so enormous that - despite several painting stations - long queues formed at times. In the end, the hands of over 100 visitors had been painted and almost 200 photos in national costumes had been handed over.

A great effort by the students from the International Management degree programme under the supervision of Dr Anna Fomenko, which once again showed how naturally cultural diversity is lived at Wismar University of Applied Sciences. We are already looking forward to next year's KUNO Cultural Festival and would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for your professional organisation and warm support.

The KUNO Culture Festival is an event organised by the Wismar-based "Kunst- und Kultur-Netzwerk Nord e. V.". The network works on the basis of the fundamental values of the German constitution and is committed to humanistic and democratic values.
Its understanding of culture includes both the cultivation of traditions and innovative creativity.
