The first of three phases of the European Union-funded Blendend Intensive Programme entitled "Mechanisms for the implementation of universal theoretical and practical approaches to compliance management teaching in universities in Europe and Ukraine" has been successfully completed.

The programme, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Arnaout, underlines the commitment to international cooperation and development of the University of Wismar as a whole and the Wismar Business School in particular.

In the next phase, the participants will meet for a one-week conference on the Wismar campus in April.

The following institutions are involved in the programme alongside Wismar University of Applied Sciences:

  • Budapest Business School (Hungary)
  • University of Chemical Technology in Prague (Czech Republic)
  • Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique (Portugal)
  • Toros University (Turkey)

Guest partners from Ukraine are participating in the programme:

  • Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy
  • Central Ukrainian National Technical University
  • National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance

We would also like to thank Dr. Katharina Barley (Vice-President of the European Parliament), Ms Bettina Martin (Minister for Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania), Mr Frank Junge (Member of the German Bundestag) and Prof. Dr. Bodo Wiegand-Hoffmeister (Rector of the Wismar University of Applied Sciences) for their visit, their greetings and their interesting questions.
