The awards for the best Bachelor’s theses have been an integral part of faculty life for many years. Twice a year, Wismar Business School honours particularly outstanding academic theses.
This year, the following theses were recognised:

‘The Cyber Resilience Act as the interface between product safety law and European digital strategy – new cybersecurity requirements for products and implications for IVU Traffic Technologies AG’, supervised by Prof. Dr Andreas Bücker.
Leon Kreft
(Business Informatics):
“Automatic Evaluation by LLM Judges – An Empirical Analysis of Self-Preference Bias in Customer Service Chatbots”, supervised by Prof. Dr Tobias Brendel
Mattis Plant
(Business Informatics):
“Intent to Use Generative Artificial Intelligence in Project Management – An Empirical Analysis Based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology in the Pre-Adoption Phase”, supervised by Prof. Dr Marianne Schmolke.
The awards ceremony took place on 6 July 2026 as part of a formal event in Room 20/220.

We would also like to thank all the supervising lecturers and the participating corporate partners for their support.
