Network members advise and train company staff on standards compliance and share knowledge across the network to improve the quality and efficiency of testing and speed up the product development process for electronics companies. Testing and consultations focus on how to demonstrate compliance with international standards.
As part of the project, seven companies are testing the network services. The project creates a list of electronics test labs, establishes the rules of the network, and analyses the demand for existing test services in the region. The network is open to other electronic test labs. Some investment in testing equipment is planned. The laboratory staff is to be trained. Testing services are being evaluated and the long-term sustainability strategy is being planned.
